The company was founded in Houston, Texas in 2009 and launched in to the New York Tri State area in 2011. The group now has multiple offices and a sales force comprising 250+ agents (and growing rapidly) throughout the Eastern States of America.

James was the founding director of Australian Sales and Promotions, a marketing business built on the platform of providing marketing service to commodity based service business in the Australian market. Through his creative approach and concepts, James led the company to be one of the industry leaders in this field.
James has a history of working with a diverse team of people which enables him to break down cultural barriers and build effective teams. He is a collaborator with a persuasive and decisive style, who has sound judgment grounded in integrity.
Bryan is our Chief Operations Officer. He is responsible for sales of our Manhattan office and Sales support. Bryan commenced working in the Sales and Marketing industry in 2007. Having now been in the industry for 6 years, Bryan is an expert building teams and culture, mentoring and coaching, quality contract and quality assurance and execution of new campaigns.
Bryan and James started working together in Australia where Bryan was engaged as the National Sales Manager for Australian Sales and Promotions (ASAP). Bryan was responsible for the execution of energy campaigns and the overall performance of each State. He worked closely with the State managers providing leadership, guidance and sales strategies that were geared at client acquisition in the Energy Retail market.
ASAP decided to expand its business in to the United States in April 2010; at which time United Sales and Promotions was incorporated and Bryan was appointed as the President. Bryan has had great success with USAP through his ability to respond quickly to change and deliver results.
Mustafa Abdul-Baqi is runs our New Jersey operation. Mustafa started his career in the area of Human Services in 2004, having worked for Job Corp where he was accredited as one of the youngest Directors in Job Corps history.
Mustafa is extremely driven and ambitious. He identified the energy market as an emerging industry in the USA and left Job Corp to take an entry level position at an Energy marketing company. Mustafa made great progress with the company and successfully built several Sales offices.
Mustafa Joined USAP Group and quickly displayed a sense of leadership and team spirit in a small but rapidly growing business. Mustafa continuously exceeded sales targets and displayed all the attributes of a true leader. Mustafa joined the USAP management program which promotes a competitive atmosphere with the development of entrepreneurial contractors. This translated into an assistant owner position with USAP group and later in to taking control of the New Jersey Office.
Nichola has worked in the Banking Industry with two major financial institutions. Nichola started out as a Personal Banker then transitioned to a Licensed Business Banker, obtaining licenses in investments, annuities, insurance and as a Notary Public. Whilst in this role Nichola was able to work with clients to uncover their financial needs ranging from banking products to commercial investments.
Nichola joined USAP Group in 2011 as our Finance and Administration Manager. Nicola plays a key role in preparing and processing our payroll and keeping track of our sales force. Nichola looks after all of our basic finance and clerical functions as well as procurement, office planning, management reporting and trend analysis and business process design.
Nicola holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing and International Business. Nichola is enrolled in a Master’s Program pursuing Marketing with a vested interest in Finance.
Arianna is our “poppin recruiter”! Her enthusiasm, energy and local knowledge is a great asset to USAP Group. Ariana has a background in hospitality and an interest in Broadway theatre.
Ariana speaks to hundreds of candidates daily which is perfect because she loves to talk! Ariana joined USAP Group in 2011. She started out in sales and moved in to recruitment several Months later. Ariana screens all candidates, schedules interviews, undertakes background checks on all new recruits and ensures everyone is ready to start.
USA Group has a glowing quality record which is well above the industry standard. Janine graduated from Drake Business School with an associate degree in Business Administration.
Prior to working with USAP Group she was a Case Worker for seven years with Administration for Children Services.
Janine started working with USAP Group as an independent contractor going from door to door introducing energy services products to new customers. Janine later went on to being employed with the company as a Quality Assurance Specialist.
Odessa has an LLB, Bachelors of Law Degree and an LLM, Master of Law with a concentrate in Corporate, Commercial and Securities law. Upon completion of her Masters she wrote a dissertation on the changing Ethos of capitalism and the 2008 economic crash and during legal career she has worked with different companies and firms in the Financial District in NYC.
Odessa is also Former Miss Guyana World and Miss Guyana Universe. She holds the title for the only Beauty Queen/Ambassador that represented Guyana at both the Miss World and Miss Universe International Beauty Pageants. She has appeared on stages in London, Canada, USA, South America, Africa and the Caribbean and featured in several beauty magazines during and after her reign.
Odessa is a very professional and impressive individual that relates to people on many levels. Odessa originally started as an Independent contractor with USAP and has worked her way from the ground up to be the head of HR & Training in the USAP Group.

It is a three step process before any agent is given the opportunity to represent USAP
1. Pass the telephone screening test - agents will prove they have solid communications skills and convince the recruiter that they will be a good contributor to our organization.
2. Attend a Face to Face interview - Agents will need to show that they have a professional appearance, they are solid contributors and have the right mentality to strive in this industry.
3. Pass back ground checks and reference checks - All agents must agree to and undergo a criminal history check and all references are contacted prior to commencing with USAP Group.
